A Bristol Guide to Local Living

localliving.jpg

Produced by students from across the Bristol Hub, this guide provides a load of practical ideas to allow you to enjoy everything Bristol has to offer whilst living in a way that promotes fairness in trade, environmental and animal welfare and sustainability. The guide also serves as a directory for as many of local ethical groups/campaigns/shops/services as we could think of, and gives information and support for volunteering, campaigning and taking action towards positive social change.

More specifically, there are different sections to the guide that may serve you in different ways. In Around and About, you can find out about the Student Restaurant, or in Jobs and Uni you'll see Open Units such as 'Gender and Politics' or 'Sustainable Development'. Get free wine by changing your electricity supplier in At Home and find out about school volunteering projects in Be Involved, whilst our shopping guide could lead you to your new favourite charity shop in Bristol.
