We are looking for new committee members to join our Code Club team.
Code Club places students in primary schools, libraries and Community Centres, and gives them the resources and training to teach young children to code. By joining Code Clubs, you can help to inspire the next generation of computer scientists. Code Clubs currently works with Scratch, HTML, CSS and Python.
What will you do?
Help us to spread the word and recruit volunteers, representing Code Club at fairs and events, running pop-up stalls and doing lecture shout-outs.
Create a sense of community amongst volunteers by running socials.
Engage and inform students about the issue, by running speaker events.
Support Bristol Hub to run volunteer training and to manage volunteers on placement.
Commitment is 1-2 hours per week during term 1 and term 2.
How will you be supported?
Code Club is managed by a member of the Bristol Hub staff team. You will work with them, and they will support you to flourish as a Code Club committee member and in your personal development.
