Bristol Hub are always on the look out for partners to make our work across the community as valuable as possible.
all the time
At Bristol Hub, we are committed to making valuable impact in local communities and this means partnering with local organisations to create social action. Whether you have an opportunity our students would enjoy, would benefit from a skilled placement service or have a fantastic new project idea, we would love to hear from you. Read more below about all the opportunities we have for you to partner with us.
The SIP is a 7 week consultancy project, pairing teams of students with a charity or social enterprise to work on a challenge brief provided by you. Bristol Hub will support you to create a robust brief, as well as train the students to consult for you. Learn more here.
The Social Impact Voluntary Placement Scheme aims to support students to gain sector experience, whilst adding capacity to local social impact organisations. Work with a committed and socially-minded student for 7 weeks. Bristol Hub will take care of the recruitment and training, and provide support to yourself and your student during the placement. Learn more here.
If you would like more information about either of these projects, or want to register your interest, please get in touch with Emma: email@example.com
Schools Plus is a tutoring scheme, that aims to raise the academic confidence, interest and attainment of the pupils, and tackle educational disadvantage in the process.
We pair student tutors with young people to help them to achieve their academic potential, and each project is specific to the needs of the school and pupils involved. We currently work with a range of schools, from primary, to secondary, to supplementary schools. Your school must meet our inclusion criteria (indicators of educational disadvantage) in order to access this programme.
Bristol Hub will recruit and train and manager volunteer tutors whilst on placement with your school. Find out more here.
LinkAges is an intergenerational project that aims to tackle loneliness amongst socially isolated older people. Students volunteer in a variety of care organisations, and are involved in activities that include befriending, IT assistance sessions, craft groups, discussion groups, and pottery. Find out more about our projects here.
We run a wide range of other community projects that your organisation might be interested in. Find out more here.
Got a brilliant idea?
We're always open to suggestions and new projects our students can get involved in. If you have a great idea for us to work together, and think your organisation or project could benefit from student volunteers, get in touch and let's see what we can do together.
