Youth Theatre
Community Youth Theatre providing equal access to creative arts for local young people
3:10-4:10pm
Oasis Academy Brislington
What is the Youth Theatre?
This year, Bristol Hub are launching our brand new Youth Theatre project. We will be running weekly creative arts and drama workshops for year 7/8/9 pupils at our partner School, Oasis Academy Brislington. Sessions are offered free of charge to create equal access to the creative arts for all. By providing a creative outlet we help children develop socially and emotionally.
Volunteers are welcome to share their skills as a leader or workshop support and we are open to volunteers helping to shape sessions based on their interests and expertise. This is a perfect opportunity for those interested in working with young people in an arts context. No previous experience is required, just eagerness to get involved.
How do I get involved?
We are looking for volunteers to help run the sessions on a weekly basis.
This project will run on Wednesday afternoons 3:10-4:10pm, at Oasis Academy Brislington School and is set to begin on the 20th February. Travel costs too and from the School will be covered by us at Bristol Hub, including taxi's for large groups. Sign up now to get involved from the first session. If you are interested, fill out the form above, or email Tom at tom.parry@bristolhub.org for more information.
Have any questions about the application process or need reasonable adjustments made? Please contact us at access@bristolhub.org. We are inclusive and encouraging of all University of Bristol students who want to volunteer, and welcome BME, LGBT+ and Disabled applicants.
