Why should I apply?
Schools Plus is a really exciting place for making social impact, developing great skills and learning more about educational inequality! Here are some of the skills you can gain by being on the committee:
  • Leadership
  • Communication
  • Project Management
  • Volunteer Management
  • Teamwork
  • Public Speaking & Presentation
You do not necessarily have to have volunteered with Schools Plus in the past - you just need to be interested in joining a team of students tackling educational inequality.
What are the next steps?
  1. Read through the committee responsibilities and role descriptions on the More Info tab and decide which role you want to apply for (you can put a first and a second preference).
  2. Complete our application form by Thursday 20th April.
  3. If you have been shortlisted you will be invited to an informal interview the week beginning 24th April (i.e. the first week back after Easter).
  4. We will let you know at your interview when to expect to hear if you have got the role.
  5. You will be inducted into your role by the current committee before the summer vacation.
